Conference Calls
If you and your phone are like [this] you'll love the concept of conference calls and learning on them. Reduce the nana natter time and use your life line for the purposes of education on our conference calls. What is a conference call? A conference call is a telephone call in which you can have a few, or even a few hundred listen in to the audio portion of a call. The conference calls may be designed to allow the guests to participate during the call, or the call may be set up so that the guests simply listen in to the call as per a lecture, and cannot speak. Often during these scenarios, the call is open up to the forum at the end for questions. It is also sometimes referred to as a tele-conference or tele-class. We have discovered that the best way to get on a conference call for cheap is to get yourself a pre-paid "Phone Card" from your post-office or newsagent (in time for convenience we hope to sell them on here). We have found the most economic of these cards to be the Ozcall Card - you can purchase one for as little as AUD$10 and this will generally last for several calls - on average you will be charged less than AUD$1 for a one hour call using this card. Who will host the Calls? Over time we will be featuring a huge range of incredible experts on YummieMummie conference calls. If you would like to express your interest in being the first to hear of upcoming conference calls as they come to hand, you can express your interest in the form to the left. If you are an expert in a particular field of interest to Mums (please make sure the focus is on the Mum's wellbeing, and/or saving her time, money or saving on guilt - the focus should not be on the children) who has already commercialised your knowledge into a webinar format, or who would be willing to conduct live conference calls or create audios with our market in mind, we'd like to hear from you.
